When Edox creates a chronometer timepiece, it means that the movement hosted has successfully undergone the tests of the Official Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC), based in Switzerland.

These movements have a certified precision of -4 / +6 seconds per day. About three times better than a standard Swiss mechanical movement.
